Experience and Dedication: I have a strong background in Early Childhood Education with a specialization in Early Intervention, having attained my qualification from Ngee Ann Polytechnic. My hands-on experience includes practicum placements at mainstream preschools, where I worked with nursery and kindergarten children, as well as a six-month internship at Rainbow Centre, supporting children with diverse learning needs. These experiences have equipped me with the ability to tailor my teaching approach to suit different learning styles and abilities, ensuring that each child receives personalized support. Beyond formal teaching, I have successfully tutored my younger cousins in Primary 3 and Primary 5, helping them improve their English, Math, and Science grades from borderline passes to solid B grades. Through patience, structured guidance, and engaging teaching methods, I have seen students grow in both confidence and academic ability. I focus on building strong foundational skills in literacy and numeracy, emphasizing understanding over rote memorization. My teaching philosophy is centered on creating an encouraging and structured learning environment where students feel motivated to improve. I incorporate interactive methods such as guided reading, vocabulary journals, and real-life applications in Math to make lessons engaging and effective. I believe that learning should be enjoyable and meaningful, and I strive to help students develop a positive attitude toward their studies. With my background, experience, and commitment to student growth, I am dedicated to supporting children in their academic journey and helping them reach their full potential.
