Experience and Dedication: I have been focusing my teachings in English and phonics by doing research on how to teach phonics and to gather resources for my phonics teachings. I have a certificate in teaching jolly phonics. I have taught students in English from K2 to Secondary 2 over the years. For P6 students, I have helped 3 students to get through their PSLE and they attained an A for their PSLE English. I have worked with children in centres and also through volunteering experiences such as providing tuitions to children from needy families under the kids read programme by NLB. I have been a Special Needs Teacher for 7 years, trained in Diploma in Special needs, under NIE. I will apply the pedagogies that I have learnt to my classroom.
