Experience and Dedication: I teach English to foreign students (primarily from China), specialized in Singapore pre-admission education programs such as Cambridge English Qualification (CEQ KET PET), Admissions Exercise for International Students (AEIS), International School Admissions (WIDA, Cat4, Slate, and English Proficiency Program), TESOL/ TEFL online, also experience in teaching adult learners functional English and Business English from Pre-beginner to Advanced Plus. My ability to communicate in Mandarin fluently is also an added asset to communicate with Chinese learners efficiently. I also provide one-on-one English to high functioning children with mild learning difficulties such as dyslexia. Experience in phonics, grammar usages, reading comprehension, creative writing strategies etc. (4 skills on listening, speaking, reading and writing). Skilled at individualizing instruction to meet the needs of each student and fostering a positive, supportive learning environment. Familiar with a variety of teaching techniques and resources to help students improve their English skills and build confidence in their abilities. Passionate about helping children reach their full potential and succeed academically. There have been positive testimonials and proven results, also videos of my in-person teachings during those sessions solely for the parents to track their child's learning progress. For online teaching, I would screen shot the exercises for every session and send to the parents. Homework exercises are also thoughtfully selected and prepared for each student. As for one of my most memorable achievements, I had assisted an autistic boy who also has delayed learning development to excel in every possible way. He has since advanced to a higher special school after two years under my wings.
