Experience and Dedication: Brief description of my experience: - I have experience being an English private home tutor for up to 2.5 years. Having started in 2021, I have tutored a total of 11 unique students, ranging from the levels of primary 1 to secondary 5 (O levels/NA). Track record of student improvements: (2022) Sec 3 NA student managed to move up to a Sec 4 Exp class for English the following year. Due to the huge jump, she struggled at first, obtaining a C6 and lower. She eventually managed to obtain a B4 for O levels. (2023) Sec 4 student who has been scoring E8 and lower for her English examinations was able to achieve a C5 for her English prelims within just 5 months of tutoring. - Currently, I am also a freelance writer for Think Tank Studio, where I interned recently over summer break. They are a content and design production team that produces educational O- and A-level magazines for youth. I hope that I can incorporate some of the knowledge I gain from the internship into lessons that I feel will benefit the students too. - As of now, I am tutoring 4 students. 2 of which are young Preschoolers who just moved to SG from China, 1 in Primary 2 and 1 in Grade 8. - I have a friendly and enthusiastic personality, and I try my best to always be engaging in lessons! At the same time, I pay attention to detail and am patient with my students.
