Experience and Dedication: 1. Introduction As an experienced tutor, I specialise in coaching Mathematics to Junior College and Secondary School students. I’m an alumni of Tampines Meridian Junior College and am a student going to National University of Singapore to pursue a degree in Computer Science. 2. Achievements: My A level results: AAA/A H2 Mathematics: A H2 Chemistry: A H2 Physics: A H1 Economics: A I topped the cohort in H2 Mathematics in Junior College, and have consistently achieved stellar results in the subject. I also consistently achieved top 10 in the level for both H2 Chemistry and Physics. Subsequently, I went on to achieve straight A’s in my A levels. 3. Teaching Experience: As an experienced tutor, I have taught multiple students, and even have experience tutoring in a tuition centre. In the last 3 years, I have taken: - 3 H2 Math JC students - 1 Additional and Elementary Math student 4. Currently teaching: - 1 H2 Math JC2 student 5. Notable Grade Improvements seen in my students: - Within a short span of 3 months, 1 of my H2 Math JC2 students improved from a C in prelims to an A in the actual A levels, and even went on to achieve straight A’s (90 rank points) in A levels. - Another of my H2 Math JC students improved from a S to a C within a span of 6 months. 6. My Goal: I have always had a strong passion for Mathematics, and I myself place a strong emphasis on my own academics. My greatest desire is to help my students develop the same passion and a high ability in their academics, as I understand how important it is to do well in major exams such as the A levels and O levels. My ultimate goal is to help my students attain a high level of understanding a strong fundamentals in their academic subjects. With my in depth understanding of mathematics, chemistry and physics, I am highly confident in bringing my students to achieve the same results that I was able to achieve using materials, resources and teaching methods that I have gained over the years. I have always gone the extra mile to help my students who were in need of help, as I genuinely desire for my students to achieve the best results they can. Having developed a keen interest in teaching, I started my tuition journey about 3 years ago, coaching and inspiring many students towards greater academic success. As a tutor who tutors few students on the same subject, Mathematics, I am fully focused on my students which ensures the tuition to be very effective for them. Make-up and extra lessons are also available, when the need arises. Lessons can also be conducted on ZOOM so that students can consolidate on important concepts, and have topical revisions before an important test or exam.
