Experience and Dedication: Dear Sir/Madam I am writing this letter to convey my interest in working as a Home Tutor to support students with needs in your organization. As a staff of the SAIS Intensive Support Program (ISP), I bring extensive experience in IB program delivery and support. My role regularly involves me conducting mini-training sessions for new Support Teachers and Teaching Assistants. These training sessions include various data collection methods such as daily documentation, Woodcock-Johnson, CICO; implementing behavioral strategies, and scaffolding class lessons and assessments. The data collected will provide evidence to gain insight into individual student growth and development to help modify accommodations and interventions to meet their goals. I closely work with the Intensive Support Program team to create learning environments that allow students with special education needs the opportunity to participate in inclusive classrooms. I have extensive experience in working with a diverse group of students, including students with ADD/ ADHD, Autism Spectrum, cognitive challenges (specifically in processing information), Asperger’s syndrome, behavioral disorders, and learning difficulties. These experiences have helped me blossom into a compassionate individual. Amongst my many duties, the most important objective is to ensure the safety and emotional and mental well-being of the students. Highlights of my responsibilities are: To establish positive, safe, and trusting relationships with students of all ages, their families, and teachers. To collaborate professionally with classroom teachers, parents, and internal services providers. To document daily progress toward academic and behavioral goals. To consider each student’s goals, needs, and interests and create more effective lesson plans and activities to meet the needs of the students with the above-mentioned challenges. To provide direct intervention to students through explicit instruction and guided practice to maximize student impact on academic engagement and social functioning. To incorporate various forms of technology, learning centers, manipulatives, and group work to help the students understand new concepts and units. To provide immediate intervention during student meltdowns or other critical moments To anticipate triggers and identify ways to avoid negative reactions to environmental stimuli To encourage each student with positive remarks or praise to motivate them to try activities of learning. I am able to show initiative to complete tasks without guidance. I am an excellent team player and my flexibility and dedication to meeting the students' goals will help me thrive in my new role. I look forward to meeting with you to discuss this position further. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions. Thank you for your kind consideration. Yours sincerely Neelavani D/O Tirunakkarasu (Neela)

Experience and Dedication: After earning my Degree in EEE from NTU, I've cultivated a strong foundation in mathematics and science, highlighted by my distinction in mathematics and Grade A in science modules. My academic journey extended beyond these realms as i delved into subjects like Leadership in 21st century at RSIS NTU, where I honed my English skills to achieve an A grade level in essay writing. Furthermore, my tenure as an ex-Army officer equipped me with invaluable experience in formulating doctrines and delivering compelling public speeches, underscoring my proficiency and confidence in the English language. I have taught around 23 students in the past 3 years in English, Maths and Science, helping them to improve their grades e.g. from failing to B or C to A. My teaching philosophy is to engage students in a creative manner to impart concepts and build their foundation rather than asking them to memorize answers. This method would assist them in solving almost any problem they would encounter.
