Experience and Dedication: I am patient, professional and practical in improving students’ understanding of subjects and exam-taking skills. I pour an high level of effort into nurturing each of my students and I am also communicative with parents!
Experience and Dedication: I am a patient and adaptive tutor. I believe that the road to scoring well lies not in memorising but rather refining the student's ability to learn, that is getting better at understanding concepts, not just learning the concepts themselves. Over my years of studying, I have amassed a set of learning methods that have given me greater efficiency in learning, and I intend to impart these methods to my students.
That said, I understand there are goals to be achieved at the end of the day, hence I believe in building small concrete goals each lesson to cultivate learning bit by bit, whilst reinforcing the morale to study. This way, the student will find learning more interesting.
I've started teaching since the year of 2025, and using this philosophy has aided me in improving several students. Notably, a Sec 2 G3 student (then Sec 1) had improved from C5 to A2 in the Secondary 1 EOY examinations, whilst under my wing for a little over 3 months. Several others include J1 Mathematics, improving from a D to an A, Sec 3 G2 E Math from a C to a B et cetera.
Additionally, I am rather flexible and am open to changing schedules, but will keep to them. Lesson materials and homework are a must as usual, and the materials used will be discussed before starting the first lesson.
